My Word for the Year

Photobucket

In Apothecary Circle our first activity was to choose a word for the year.  I kind of use the word focus a lot.  My whole life it's been something I need to be better at; I can be very scatterbrained.  It's easy for me to become superficially interested in things (get distracted).  Going a mile a minute in the end leaves me with nothing but overall stagnation.  I've been studying my chart a bunch during break and there's not a lot of grounding Earth in there, so it will be a challenge to keep my feet on the ground.  However, lately I've been feeling fiercely opposed to keeping around distracting and unnecessary things, sort of on autopilot finding ways to get rid of what doesn't serve me anymore.  It started the day after solstice when I took at least a dozen bags to the closest donation station and filled our big trashcan with things no one should want.  I'm working on time/money budgeting and caring for my body so I'm not to tired to get things done.  Basically I'm ready to cut the shit and live up to full potential.

  1. I sadly don't belong to the Circle. However, I did choose a word for my year: Glitter Filled. My word for January: Accomplish!

    1. Nice! I like the idea of having a word for the year then also words for the months.
